How to Join

Joining is Easy. The Registration process is fuss-free, and you can join for an annual membership of only £10.

To become a member and start borrowing today, register for an account. Once registered, you can hire a wide range of items at no extra cost. You can also borrow higher value items for a small, additional fee. 

These small payments help to keep the Stirling Library of Things project running so you can enjoy your break, knowing that you're giving preloved items a second life and helping the planet too. 

Borrow 

Once you've registered and paid for your membership, you're ready to reserve available items for collection.

Use 

All items can be kept for the duration of the agreed loan period. They can also be kept for an additional loan period, if an extension is requested and successfully approved, which can be done via an online application.

Return 

You may return the item on or before your loan time ends so others can borrow the item. Please check our opening hours and location instructions' in each case.

Donate 

We are happy to accept donations. This depends on the items and may change at times. Where there is a demand, we have a list of items we think would be ideal for the library but we are always open to new ideas, and welcome your feedback. We would also gratefully receive financial donations to keep the project alive. Please contact us if you can help or visit our Facebook page and send us a message.

When things go wrong 

At Stirling Library of Things we are here to support you. If you borrow something and it gets damaged or fails, we will work with you to put it right. This includes repairing the item where this is possible. Please refer to our T's and C's.
